Workshop C1, C2 & C4: Large loads inverter based

The rapid growth of large power-electronic-interfaced loads (PEILs), such as data centers and hydrogen facilities, is introducing new challenges for power system planning, operation, and interconnection. Recognizing these challenges, CIGRE established the Large Load Task Force (LLTF) to identify key gaps in understanding and integration practices, and to define priorities for future Working Groups. This session presents key findings from the LLTF’s two-part white paper, covering grid impacts, modeling needs, connection requirements, and operational and planning considerations.
