Using a collective membership

A collective number allows a limited number of delegates (6 delegates for a private company and 3 for an educational institution) to register and benefit from rate 1.

The fee is allocated on the first-come first-served basis. Once the quota of delegates has been reached, the membership number can no longer be used to benefit from the member rate.  

Remote participation

  • Only on-site contributors will be allowed to present a contribution,
  • Only on-site autors will be allowed to present a poster,
  • Remote participation will be limited to interactions in the Chat box of the broadcasting tool,
  • The Technical Exhibition, the Social Events and the Poster Sessions will not be broadcasted.

Lunches are not included in the registration fee. However, lunch counters will be open in the Palais des Congrès of Paris and close to the venue

We strongly encourage online payments as they are immediate. In contrast, bank transfers may take time to be processed due to internal procedures. It is the delegate’s responsability to ensure the payment arrives to the above bank account before the deadlines.

After completion of the online registration form, the invoice is available in the delegate’s private registration account. The invoice must be paid in Euros without any charges for CIGRE.

Purchase orders are not considered as payment.

A registration is individual, nomativative and non-transferable. It cannot be exchanged or transferred under any circumstances. Cancellation requests must be sent to registrations(@)cigre.org before July 31st 2024. A refund minus the handling fee of 240€ per delegate and 140€ per companion will be applied. After July 31st no cancellation will be accepted and no refund possible.

A visa request form can be filled in during the online registration process. Please note that payment must be completed in order to have access to your invitation visa letter. It is the responsability of the delegates to start the administrative process of visa application as soon as possible in order to be able to participate in the Session in Paris.

CIGRE and its suppliers reserve the right to photograph and film Scientific Sessions and all other events connected to the Session. In attending the CIGRE Session the participants accept and give their authorisation for using any form of reproduction of image photographic or video by CIGRE or its suppliers, on the CIGRE Internet website and in promotional documents. Photographic reproductions may also be given to the media and Session participants accept that they cannot take legal action against CIGRE for using this material (Article 9 of the French Civil Code).
